About Me.
I’m Lou Assaro, and a candidate for the West Virginia House of Delegates, District 69. Our families deserve better than broken roads, low-paying jobs, and politicians who forget who they work for. I’ll fight for roads that won’t wreck your truck, jobs that pay enough to stay local, schools and teachers that keep our kids learning here at home, and the freedom to live our lives without government interference. I’m not running to play politics — I’m running to make sure West Virginians can build a future right here, instead of being forced to leave the place we love.
I'm pro-business, an advocate for recreation and tourism, and a conservative Democrat. I bring a common-sense, independent approach to every issue—focused on what works, not what plays well in party politics. I am a firm believer that truth and accountability must never take a back seat to party loyalty. I will not hesitate to call out misinformation or political cowardice—especially when our democratic institutions are at stake.
I believe in personal responsibility. I believe in hard work. I believe in family, faith, and personal freedom. I’ve served this country, and now I’m ready to serve West Virginia.
